Community Mobilization Camp for School Readiness held at Ranbir Hr. Sec. School Jammu

Jammu May 23: In collaboration with the Directorate of Samagra Shiksha J&K, Directorate of School Education Jammu, SRML Hr. Sec. School Jammu and in partnership with UNICEF India, National Development Foundation organized a one-day School Readiness Camp for Community Mobilization, promoting Parent-Teacher Engagement and Retention. Around 100 participants participated, including parents, community members, teachers and students. Ajeet Kumar Sharma, Coordinator Quality Samagra Shiksha, was Chief Guest, while Principal Sri Ranbir Hr. Sec. School Anjali Gupta and President of National Development Foundation Rajiv Khajuria attended the programme as guests of honour. Communication Officer NDF Aman Deep, Add. Programme Officer Amit Kundal, Education Facilitator Nisha Pandita and the Faculty of the School were also present. Sarita Sharma, Assistant Coordinator Pre-Primary, conducted the proceedings and coordinator Pre-Primary Jaswinder Kour gave a detailed report on the activities of the kindergarten of SRML Hr. Sec. School Jammu.

Anjali Gupta, Principal, in her address, thanked the National Development Foundation for choosing SRML School for conducting this community mobilization programme and appreciated the institution's support.

Rajiv Khajuria, President National Development Foundation, in his address, assured that National Development Foundation will continue to work on ECCE and FLN in J&K. He termed the kindergarten of the school as one of the best Pre-Primary Institution in Jammu Division and called upon the parents and community members present on the occasion to admit more children to the school. He lauded the efforts of the School Education Department for their specialized focus on ECCE, FLN and NIPUN Bharat Mission.

Ajeet Sharma, Coordinator Samagra Shiksha, requested the staff members deal with the ECCE and FLN to adopt the new pedagogy by motivating the children to meet society's expectations and achieve the fixed target by the FLN. He addressed the parents and requested them to get the benefits of all the Government Schemes that the Government of India and JK UT are providing their kids for better quality education. He also thanked the society for their overwhelming response to getting their children admitted to the Government Schools and getting all the benefits of ECCE.
